The Person

  • QQI Level 6 in a Relevant Qualification, with a minimum 2 years’ experience working with children and young people in a social care setting
  • Committed to studying towards a Level 7 qualification (e.g.) in Social Care (financial funding for the top up qualification would be provided by Ashdale Care)
  • Ability to work in regulated activity, care for and supervise young persons
  • Flexible – willing and able to adapt to changing circumstances, shift patterns and expectations

To manage the home in accordance with its Statement of Purpose and to ensure the maintenance of a safe and caring environment in accordance with relevant childcare legislation, national standards and Ashdale Care (Ireland)Policies and Procedures. With a starting salary from €53,550 – €57,964 (dependent on experience).
