Training Program

Training Program

We believe that a comprehensive training, awareness and support programme for staff enhances ethical and professional practice throughout the organisation. We promote the importance of working relationships and staff self-care, and have developed a programme of staff support that has proved to be an invaluable therapeutic aid.

TAP

A monthly in-house Training and Awareness Programme provides staff with foundational training in therapeutic processes to increase understanding of the impact of trauma on development and behaviour and the importance of healthy attachments.

TCI

Regular Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (TCI) provided by our in-house facilitator.

Our residential care staff have regular access to external training in Trauma and Attachment theory in line with continuing professional development. We also support and finance training and education in a range of relevant disciplines and actively encourage staff to put forward proposals for training pertinent to individual or team development.
