Psychologist
Ashdale Care (Ireland) provides specialist therapeutic residential services for young people with complex, emotional, and behavioural problems who cannot be adequately cared for in a mainstream setting.
The Psychologist supports the implementation and maintenance of Attachment and Trauma Informed Practice across the Residential Homes within Ashdale Care Ireland.
Residential Social Care Workers - Monaghan, Cavan & Leitrim
POST: Residential Social Care Worker
LOCATION: Co Monaghan / Co Louth / Co Cavan
ACCOUNTABLE TO: Operations Manager
REPORTS TO: Home Manager/Deputy Home Manager
To work as a member of a residential team to create a safe and caring environment which meets the individual and group needs of the children who live there. Residential Care Workers must practice in accordance with relevant childcare legislation, national standards, and Ashdale Care (Ireland) Ltd Policies and Procedures.
Senior Practitioners - Monaghan, Cavan & Leitrim
POST: Senior Practitioner
DEPARTMENT: Co Monaghan/Louth/Meath
RESPONSIBLE TO: Line Manager
To work as a member of a Residential Team to create a safe and caring environment which meets the individual and group needs of the children who live there. Senior Practitioners must practice in accordance with relevant childcare legislation, national standards and Ashdale Care (Ireland) Ltd Policies and Procedures.
Clinical Psychologist – Ballygawley, Tyrone
POST: Clinical Psychologist
LOCATION: Co Monaghan
REPORTS TO: Clinical Team Lead
ACCOUNTABLE TO: Director of Care
Provision of Psychological Assessments, Training, Supervision, and input into the Care Planning process to improve the psychological health of all young people resident in our homes. Provision of evidence-based therapeutic work with individual children, young people and in small groups.
Home Manager – Monaghan and Cavan
Responsibilities:
To manage the home in accordance with its Statement of Purpose and to ensure the maintenance of a safe and caring environment in accordance with relevant childcare legislation, national standards and Ashdale Care (Ireland)Policies and Procedures
Qualifications Required:
Minimum Level 8 degree in Social Care
Experience Required:
5 years’ experience of working in a social care environment with children
A full clean driving licence with access to a car.
Up to date knowledge of legislation surrounding Residential Childcare and Safeguarding
Experience of multi-disciplinary working with a range of professionals in the industry

Compliance Manager - Monaghan
Responsibilities
To carry out Internal Thematic Audits of Ashdale Care Homes in line with Organisational Policy. To complete these Audits in line with the National Standards for Children’s Residential Centres (2001), Child Care Regulations (1996), Ashdale Cares Policies and Procedures, relevant legislation and best practice.
The Person will be able to demonstrate:
• A professional and confident approach to working relationships
• Great communication and literacy skills
• Experience of working within an environment that can require sensitivity, high levels of self awareness and a level of regulatory compliance
• Ability to use audit software and analyse the results and recommend any actions
• Timeliness and accuracy of audit delivery and reporting
• High level of organisation skills and ability to prioritise
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Essential Criteria
• A minimum qualification to Level 8 degree in Social Care or Social Work
• A working knowledge of the National Standards for Children’s Residential Centres
• Minimum of 5 years experience of working within a children’s residential environment or social work environment
• Minimum of 2 years experience in an auditing capacity
• Full Driving Licence
Desirable Criteria
• Certification in Auditing
• Training/coaching qualification
